Important Rules of Poker

In a showdown, the player with the highest hand wins the pot. If there is a tie between players, the pot is split. A dealer wins on ties or if all the players bust.

When a player has a strong hand, they should raise it to encourage other players to call. This will increase the value of their hand and help them win more money. However, if they are unable to match the last raise, they must fold their hand.
