After the dealer shows his or her five cards, players will have seven cards in total. These seven cards include two personal cards and five community cards. After the “flop”, players must analyze their hands. If they do not have the best hand, players may draw replacement cards. These replacement cards are normally drawn during or after a betting round. A game is void if the player receives more than one replacement card. However, it is not advisable to draw replacement cards before betting, because it can lead to bad hands.

If the dealer has cut the deck too many times, players can request a redealt flop. When this happens, the cards flopped before the betting round was completed and are no longer suited for any player, the dealer must discard the burned card and reshuffle the deck. The remaining players then bet on the flop. If the dealer is out of cards, the players may cut the dealer or each other player. This will ensure that the remaining players receive the best hand possible.
