MAY COVID-19 UPDATES

In keeping with Denver’s mandates, we’re implementing the following for the gym: All current memberships will be unpaused on May 1st including current year packages. If you require an extended pause, please reply to this email ASAP.

  • All month-to-month members will have a reduced bill of $75 (NOT including year memberships) 
  • All Virtual Classes, Live and on Youtube, will be restricted access to current paying clients including everyone with an active Year, Month-to-Month, or currently doing PT with a coach. 
  • Next week, we’ll make arrangements to collect the rented gym equipment from anyone who does not have an active membership. Please feel free to return any additional equipment that is not currently being utilized as well! 
  • Only Small Group Personal Training (max of 4 people) and 1on1 Personal Training will be available as an option in May
  • Sessions will be 45 minutes to allow time for cleaning between sessions
  • Sessions will start on the hour during our regular open times from 5am-12pm and 4pm-7pm from Monday through Thursday, as well as Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
  • The 4 Small Group Personal Training slots will be first come - first served. Look for the final schedule that will be released next week to sign up.
  • Programming will be planned to maintain social distance and require zero sharing of equipment and space.

The new smaller personal training sessions will provide for more individual attention but, in order to promote the extra safeguards and smaller group sizes we will also have to increase costs. Pricing for small group personal training and one on one personal training can be found here

These developments will continue through May and we’ll update as appropriate to comply with both state and city requirements. 

We’re eager to get back to normal group classes and the full schedule that we’re used to, but we’re all coping with the new normal for the time being. Like many small businesses acclimating in this new environment, Blunt Force continues to strive to balance our clients needs and their safety with our economic obligations including our overhead, trainer pay and rent solidified before the pandemic. We continue to welcome your feedback and support as we make it through this difficult time. I also want to say a special thank you to those amazing clients who volunteered to keep their autopays active at the standard rates or donated directly during the lockdown. Our team thanks you immensely. 

We’ll keep you updated as Denver reopens more businesses and we get closer to May 9th. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again and getting back to our fitness goals.
