Tiffany Coolidge - Owner

To say Tiffany is a big deal is an understatement. She left her career in politics and her position as a board member for the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University to focus on fitness and her clients. And she hasn’t looked back. 

After training at a big box gym for a few years, Tiffany decided it was time to become her own force of fitness. Her vision was to create a no-frills gym that emphasized training and conditioning, not flexing in front of the mirror or prancing around in tight clothing. No matter your age or fitness ability, at Blunt Force, everyone is equal. It’s not uncommon to see clients, trainers, and fighters sweating side-by-side. 

But what Tiffany really loves is the camaraderie that happens organically outside the gym. It’s not uncommon to see Blunt Forcers running races together, cheering for the fight team at MMA events, and proudly sporting their Blunt Force gear all over town. Blunt Force is more than just another Denver gym. It’s a fitness lifestyle with an army of loyal followers. Tiffany is the mastermind behind it all. When Tiff isn’t making clients sweat, she’s boxing, running races and traveling the globe searching for the best food trucks. Street

Personal Training with Tiffany

Sean - General Manager

In 2009, Sean was in the middle of applying for graduate school and decided to join a local gym to combat the effects of living a typical college lifestyle. What started out as a simple hobby quickly grew into a full-blown passion. It didn't take long for him to realize that he was pursuing the wrong kind of career.  

Sean’s approach to fitness is simple: to blend full-body strength routines with active alignment. He has found that starting with a foundation of yoga, mobility, and stability movements has given his clients the ability to see consistent progress in strength while healing their daily aches and pains.  

His favorite exercises include Muscle-Ups, Handstand Walking, Broad Jumps, Turkish Get-Ups, and Deadlifts.

Charlie - Coach

In the fitness world, some might look at Charlie as an underdog. And that’s perfectly fine for this comeback, come-from-behind-kid.

Charlie had been struggling with his weight since childhood. At the start of his freshman year of college, Charlie weighed 375 pounds. After he graduated, he knew it was time for a change. He started running and working out; by his 25th birthday, Charlie had lost 190 pounds. He left his desk job and began working out at Blunt Force. 

Since then he’s lost over 7% body fat and put on 40 pounds of muscle. But transforming his physical physique was only part of Charlie’s goal. The other was pursuing a career in personal training. It’s no surprise that Charlie found a way to muscle through his training and come out on top. Charlie brings a real passion to Blunt Force every day, whether it’s through his own workouts or the classes he teaches. He recently became an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is pumped to be a part of the Blunt Force family. If you have a personal obstacle, like losing weight or getting in shape for a race, Charlie is just the man to have by your side. When he’s not at the gym, which is rare, Charlie loves spending time outdoors. But even then he’s usually hiking, climbing 14ers, or conquering the latest obstacle course race to come through Colorado.

Ian - Strength Coach

After being sidelined from a major sport’s injury, Ian went through a long and painful rehab. During his recovery, he quickly discovered that he had a true passion for health and fitness. This ah-ha moment eventually led him to George Washington University where he earned his degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Athletic Training. From here, Ian continued his education as a volunteer at the Walter Reed Naval Medical Center MATC, and as an intern in practice clinics. Eventually Ian ended up in Denver, and luckily at Blunt Force.  

Here at the gym, Ian uses a combination of strength training and corrective exercise to improve his clients’ overall quality of life and help increase physical longevity. And when Ian’s not snowboarding, rock climbing or skydiving, he’s putting all his certifications to good use. His current certifications include: USAW Sports Performance Coach (Olympic Lifting), Kettlebell Coach, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal and Postpartum Training, Precision Nutrition, Functional Movement Systems FM and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. To describe Ian as driven would be an understatement.  

Grahame - Coach

Grahame’s athletic career began early. He played recreational soccer beginning at age five, competitive soccer through high school, and competed as collegiate student-athlete on a nationally ranked soccer team. After experiencing a ton of success on the field, Grahame decide to take his love for fitness off the field.

Grahame completed a rigorous 6-month program at the National Personal Training Institute of Colorado where he studied group training, coaching special populations, and nutrition. He also became AED/CPR certified and earned his certification as a National Association of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer.  

Whether Grahame is playing soccer, going for trail run, or doing pull-ups in the park, he believes that fitness doesn’t have to be something we dread, but instead an activity that is engaging, confidence building and fun.

Jordan - Coach

Grew up in a small beach town in Fl, moved to Colorado 3 years ago. Lost 110lbs total throughout 2013-2015. 

Attended NPTI, NASM(expired but retaking soon) TRX cert, MX4 cert, CPR/AED. I also have some mma training. 

Eddie - Boxing

Even though he’s only 23-years-old, Eduardo Vasquez has been around boxing for over 10 years. This California native has placed in many national tournaments, including USA Nations Champions, National Golden and Ringside World Championships.

But it’s not just his golden gloves that attract clients to Eduardo’s corner; it’s his heart of gold.  

Eduardo might be young but he’s wise beyond his boxing years. His warm smile can light up a room, and his footwork is a cross between Sugar Ray and Fred Astaire. Eduardo’s calm demeanor and incredible boxing IQ is what attracts boxers of all levels to his ring. From amateur fighters to professional punchers to people just looking to stay in shape, Eduardo loves sharing his life’s passion with others.  

When Eduardo’s not jabbing away at his business degree or bobbing and weaving down mountain trails, he’s inside the ring doing what he loves best: Flying like a butterfly, stinging like a bee!

Jenny - Coach

Jenny focuses on building confidence and strength through functional training. She guides clients and campers to achieving goals and push their limits by balancing mobility, effective programming, and a holistic approach to fitness including:

  • Conditioning

Loves running, horse riding, boxing, snowboarding, traveling, climbing (anything), and animals

Mike - Boxing Coach

As a child Michael was shy, overweight, and severely lacked confidence. He struggled with being bullied throughout his younger years and was determined to make a change by picking up a sport. He decided to devote his time in Tae Kwon Do and after a few months of hard training he fell in love with martial arts. Always watching old school kung fu flicks and playing Street Fighter as a source of nerdy inspiration, he decided that combat sports would be a way of life for him. In high school he joined the wrestling team and began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to focus on his grappling and ground fighting. He is currently a purple belt and has won numerous medals in tournaments such as US Grappling, NAGA, and IBJJF. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. where he served for 5 years before receiving an honorable discharge as an E-5 (Sergeant). His billets include rifle/pistol range coach and black belt instructor for MCMAP (Marine Corps. Martial Arts Program). As a veteran he utilized the G.I. Bill benefits to attend college and further his knowledge of the human body. He graduated Cum Laude from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in nutrition. Michael is currently training at Muay Thai Colorado and Team Elevation pursuing a career in professional fighting as well as personal/group training. Ultimately, he wants to use his experience to help inspire as many people as possible to become the best versions of themselves through martial arts and fitness.

Mallory - Coach

Growing up in Seattle, Mallory moved around quite a bit before finding some sun in Denver, CO. Her dad was a college football coach, so she had been around strength training her whole life. Although 10 years into the game, she started training hard about 5 years ago. Weightlifting entirely changed her perspective of what it means to be “fit”. As a coach, she loves helping others find achieve their goals, no matter where they may be in their fitness journey.

Laura - Coach

Movement has always been a big part of Laura’s life. She has participated in a wide variety of activities such as competitive gymnastics, dance, distance running, yoga and bodybuilding. She has always enjoyed exercise, however she developed her true passion for it when she began to understand the connection between physical and mental health. She learned that a negative mindset could be flipped around with a tough workout, and that when you push your physical limits, your mental strength also increases. 

With a background in education, she decided to follow her passion and combine two of the things that she deeply enjoys- teaching and coaching. She specializes in working with clients to design an exercise program that they enjoy and that is effectively tailored to meet their individual goals, one step at a time. She wants all of her clients to leave her classes or training sessions both physically and mentally stronger, and with their endorphins running high so that they can tackle the other parts of their lives with positive energy and enthusiasm.

Outside of the gym, Laura enjoys exploring in the mountains, traveling, dancing, cooking, and searching for the most legit tacos!

BOOTCAMP

When it comes to workouts, this is our specialty. These 50-minute sessions vary by trainer, ensuring you never do the same workout twice. We even design custom birthday bootcamps for all of our clients. Careful what you wish for.


STRENGTH

Learn to utilize various strength tools including the Barbell, kettle bells and your own bodyweight. If your interested in Olympic Lifting, Powerlifting and kettle bell sport this class is for you. 


BOXING 

Led by boxing badasses Nick, Eddie, Mike and Tiffany, this 50-minute session is the real deal Holyfied when it comes to boxing classes. Sure, you’ll learn the basics: how to wrap your hands, proper stances, punching techniques, breathing, etc. But unlike most gyms, we get inside a real ring and let the leather fly. There’s nothing basic about it.

KICKBOXING 

This 50-minute session is a butt-kicking, fat-burning,muscle-building workout that combines striking and interval training. You will train like a pro under one of our extremely talented and experienced instructors. Their respective knowledge in and around the ring makes this class a legit option for anyone looking to put on the gloves and mix things up.


HIIT

Between a combination of light weights and plyometric training, this 30 minute high intensity interval training class will leave you sweating and satisfied.


CORE

This 30-minute gut-wrenching session is a down-and-dirty way to get lean, build strength and ground your power. Before a workout or by itself, CORE does a body good.


TRX / Kettle Strength

Get strong and gain muscle in this muscle pumping 50 minutes class. Learn to utilize a combination of TRX Suspension Trainer and Kettlebells.


Elite Performance

This class doesn’t need an introduction. It needs a disclaimer: SUFFERING GUARANTEED. This 50-minute strength, cardio, endurance, and all-out torture session has been engineered to push even our most seasoned, hardcore athletes to the brink. Sound like fun? Then you’re crazy enough to get pre-authorized by one of our trainers to compete with the elite. If you ever wanted to know what you were made of, this is the ultimate testing ground.
